As you can see today's time is very different than Ruby's time. Poor Ruby has to do all the chores and take care of her grandmother, when these days you can hire somebody to do your chores and you can put your grandparents in nursing homes. Also the government is very different because now we have presidents instead of kings and knights. Although some of the events are similar we had carnival rides and roller coasters. I think that living now is easy than Ruby's time but i think that in her time family's spent more time together.
